personal trainer & wellness coach
Welcome to DG Personal Training! I’m Denny and I am a certified personal trainer and wellness coach. I am a dancer, runner, and movement enthusiast. Witnessing the benefits of bringing movement and integrative health to my clients’ lives brings a sense of purpose to my work.
I have a passion for wellness and believe it is an important part of a meaningful & successful life. I strive to normalize self-care and leisure while still maintaining a high performance lifestyle.
I help my clients find ways to bring movement into their daily practice and find joy in habits that help make their life, work, and relationships better.
I have a soft spot for working with runners and hyper-mobile individuals like yogis and dancers, but I love working with anyone who is willing to work hard and is open to change. The people I work with improve their abilities so they can move well and achieve results that last. I am excited to work with anyone who is willing to try new things and approach their lifestyle habits with an open mind and positive attitude! If that’s you…
Let’s do this together,
Coach Denny
my clients often come to me
for the following reasons:
…
body composition & weight loss
Many of my clients come to me with similar goals: to have a more toned look, to see better muscle definition in their arms, legs, and abs, and to decrease body fat. I have years of experience working on these kinds of goals with my clients. Through a combination of resistance training and cardiovascular training, I’m confident we can have you feeling and looking your best. During the first six weeks is when you may start feeling changes in your body like feeling more energized and strong throughout the day. Between twelve and twenty four weeks is when you can expect to see changes. This is where the magic happens!
pain reduction & management
Learn how your body works and how to utilize your physical training to reduce, minimize, and prevent pain. By addressing mobility, strength, and full-body integration, we can manage pain in a way that is meaningful & long-lasting. I have worked with many clients over the years who came to me having experienced back pain, knee and shoulder pain. All of them felt improvements in this area in addition to other benefits from working with me as their trainer. I lived with tendinitis for years, so I can tell you from experience how life-changing it is to free yourself from recurring aches and pains.
nutrition & lifestyle coaching
I get many questions from my personal training clients about nutrition. Nutrition, sleep, stress, life phase, and relationships can all impact how you show up physically and mentally. With so much information easily accessible, my clients find it helpful to work with me directly to ask questions and dive deeper into their lifestyle habits. Find out what habit changes are key to you reaching your fitness goals. Learn what behaviors help you succeed in feeling and looking your best. We will address your movement, nutrition, and recovery practices to create habits that are suited to your life and that you feel confident in incorporating into your daily schedule. Everyone is different, so I personalize my recommendations to you.

Testimonials
a little more about me…
When I’m not coaching clients and creating movement programs, you can catch me at the beach, hiking with my dog, or on an outdoor run. Being active has been a part of my life since I was a little kid, when I started taking dance classes. I realize now that not everyone had that opportunity, so I bring that lifestyle to my clients through coaching.
After years of dancing, I developed tendinitis in both legs which prevented me from running and doing other high-impact activities for years. I finally decided that I wanted to be proactive and take control of my life and my body’s abilities. I have experienced first-hand what it’s like to let pain and injury dictate what my body can do, as well as the freedom and confidence that comes after healing and taking action to change those circumstances. Today I can confidently say that my body is strong and moves freely.
Working with people to find what movement practices work for their body brings me a sense of purpose. By incorporating efficient movement, optimal nutrition, and strategic recovery practices, my clients find peace in their bodies and satisfaction in life.
I am passionate about helping my clients create sustainable movement habits and nutrition practices so they can achieve consistency with exercise and long-term vitality.
